Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument (National Park Service)
The cliff dwellings were occupied later than the story but the site was probably utilized by the earlier Mountain People (Mogollon). In addition, the road up to the dwellings will pass through the valley and canyon occupied by the Mogollon, locally known as the Mimbreños.
